Catholic education is inclusive and St Martha’s warmly welcomes all denominations. As a lively Christian community, we enjoy the contributions other faiths bring to school life.

We support each girl on her personal faith journey, helping her to understand the pleasure of caring for others and appreciate the richness of diversity in our world. And to truly reflect our motto: Serve the Lord with Joy.

Our school chaplain Father Terry is a key figure in the spiritual life and development of girls, staff and parents at St Martha’s. To strengthen our sense of community we pray together daily in our historic school chapel and promote opportunities for personal prayer and reflection for those of all faiths.

A St Martha’s girl:
• Develops a broad, cultured outlook
• Takes responsibility for her own life and others’
• Recognises the value of service to others
• Puts her faith into action
• Respects and supports of the rights of all
