A typical day at St. Martha’s starts with 8.30 assembly or Form Time, includes eight 45-minute lessons broken up by a morning break and lunch, then rounds off with after-school activities until 4pm.

The majority of students study four subjects in Lower 6th Form and most will continue with three into Upper 6th Form. In addition, all students study General RE, PSHCE, Careers, Sport and Enrichment. The Enrichment programme provides opportunities to gain the Pru Leith Cookery qualification as well as studying music, dance and sport. Lower 6th Form participate in the Extended Project Qualification.

There is a wide and varied programme of lunch time and after school extra-curricular activities and all students will do two of these each week. Sixth Form students are expected to play a leading role in the organisation of inter-house events and to encourage the full participation of younger pupils.

This list is provisional and subjects may change as student choices are made.
