This fascinating subject raises fundamental questions about human development and mental processes. It is recognized as a science by the exam board and includes an exploration of research methods such as experiments, observations, social surveys and covert techniques.

Among its many benefits, study of psychology encourages students to:

  • Develop a sound understanding of methods and approaches in psychology

  • Cognitive psychology, including memory and eyewitness testimony
