Key Stage 3
In 2nd Form girls enjoy a detailed study of the Roman Empire including art, the army, slavery, education, law, entertainment, religion and the fall.

Girls then move on to study the Ancient Greeks, looking at mythology, art and architecture, literature, religion, the early Olympic Games and other forms of entertainment.

Key Stage 4
In 3rd – 5th Form girls follow the syllabus from leading UK award body the OCR which includes an in-depth study for course work, as well as three taught modules:
• Pompeii
• Homer’s Odyssey
• Athens

Sixth Form (Key Stage 5)
We offer Classics at AS and A2 level, where study includes Greek tragedy (Aeschylus and Sophocles, Euripides), Greek and Roman epics (Homer’s Odyssey and Virgil’s Aeneid) and the art and architecture of Archaic and Classical Greece.
